Summary:

The insect while looking for food, becomes trapped and it is continuously tortured while trying to survive, while the video consists of its random loop in the middle of the liquid.

The video acts as a recording of death. It loops normally as well as reversely to emphasize the anxiety of a live being's try for its survival, while the video makes this action last more and more...

'Fly' focuses specifically on the audience's feelings about death. These feelings may differ from one person to another, or escape from consciousness, while now, they are highlighted by the length of the video installation and its size. The video installation's elements are transduced step by step, firstly to a physical phenomenon and then to concepts such as life - food - death.

The recording of a fly's death highlights the fact that a live being's death is not always painful for somebody to watch, as it is human nature to be emotionally hurt only when it looses something that it loves.
