My name is Dimitris Fotiou and I have studied sculpture. I no longer consider myself a traditional sculptor, as nowadays technology has improved aesthetics as well as concept.

I have done many classical studies in the past, which you are able to see on this website, as I prefer to exhibit them online than to remain in my old portfolio. What I do now, is to design something that comes from an idea or research via computers and digital technology in addition to fine art concepts and practice. The result is the production of contemporary artwork that may take place either on the web or in the real space.

Apart from being a sculptor, I work as a freelance web designer/developer and as a teacher. I have designed lots of websites, both clients' and net.art projects.
I have taught all ages by now, mostly art and sculpture, while students vary from elementary schools, adults and university.  

I have exhibited my work many times in public spaces, also on the web.

I am aries and I enjoy staying until late at night by greece's seas drinking wine.
